Time Magazine, it is a Changing

I guess if you were to say that this was roughly based on Bob Dylan’s – Times they are a changing, it may make more sense…  But it’s a kick back to the ridiculous Times Magazine ‘Most Influential People” list 2010.  To believe that in this world where there is so much sickening injustice and perverted sense of morals that some of these fuckwits are even in the list is wrong in the first place.  America, a note…  No!  The full list can be found here, look and cry.

Come gather round cretins explain this here poll,

And admit that you’re idiots and someone fell foul

And accept your opinions are that of pre pubescent girls,

If time magazine to you is worth reading,

And you better start learning or you’ll be dumb all your life

For Time magazine, it is a changing.

Come writers and morons who offend with your words,

And keep your mouth shut if you stay in your herds,

And don’t speak of this trash when once you stood tall,

And there’s no telling you I’m ashamed,

You were a winner back then and now you lose for this sin,

For Time Magazine, it is a changing.

You list senators, politicians below unheard ofs and a troll,

Don’t feed us this tripe, don’t drag us into your hole,

For he that reads on will be he who believes

Intelligence is at a premium,

They’ll soon rattle your rag and trust your dumb views

For Time Magazine, it is a changing.

Come mothers and fathers who birthed all these fools,

Did not you have morals you cannot recall

Your sons and your daughters should have learnt things in school,

The knowledge is rapidly fading,

Please understand or shut up if you’re this thick

For Time Magazine, it is a changing.

The Times might be new but you’re feeding the ill,

The smart wont survive when you force them this pill

As your president now influences less than most,

Our hope is rapidly fading,

And the important one now we’ll later forget

For Times Magazine, it is a changing.

Propaganda Machine

Posted in Jonny Voices, Musings, Poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 2, 2010 by Jonny Voices

The propaganda machine speeds on relentless

And we can’t do a damn thing to prevent this,

We sit down and take in the lies we all read,

But don’t hear of the tyrant’s or their filthy greed,

Of editors and columnists, of readers and of men

Fearful of the world reported not the world we ken,

Here we sit and dwell till poverty gives abode,

I don’t know any of the families living down my road,

The papers say their kids will stab me

And if I report them the police black flag me,

Estates where once harmonious dreams tried to thrive

Turned out dank and pissed stained where only the strong survive,

The weak are left behind with a sallow look of brain,

Kid’s with knives and suicide is all that oft’ remain,

And false the man who stands with poise and grace,

Preaching to the masses from his second face,

He tells us all is well and we can be so safe

But naught have I read to justify this wraith,

Harbinger of lies but not a paper type,

This propaganda machine spreads some fucking tripe.

Am I Angry?

Am I angry about anything?

You fucking bet

Encroaching on your liberties

Or oppression in Tibet,

Smarmy politicians

Lying to your face

Denial of all other life

Living out in space,

The stigma of all binge drinkers

Bankers, think tank thinkers

War, recession, copious tax

Talk of job and pay cut backs,

Job markets and depressing views

Also “Party political news”

Maniacal malaise, misconduct

No small wonder we feel fucked,

Hoodies, chavs and petty crime

Judges, murderers who do no time,

And the biggest crims we see walk free

As Mandy fucks university,

Hours I waste and the hours I wont

Weeks I sleep and the months I don’t,

Metaphors for my bleeding heart

Whores and lovers worlds apart,

Religion, power, money and greed

Taxation on the legal weed,

The cost of fuel, the price of living

Fuck you if I’m unforgiving,

I’ll take my chance and I’ll say it proud,

Fuck you cunt and your fucking crowd.

Bad Education Good Whore

Thanks to internet dating

Or the music in the club,

I could never find a woman

For a sexy quick old rub,

And now we got equality

And women have a vote,

I’m just fucking frowned upon

you dirty pervert scrote,

And all the girls at work

Will avoid me like the mumps,

Coz I’m a miserable bastard

Arrogant bearded cunt,

And when it comes to sex

If I don’t want fat and rough,

I gotta pay some money

For a stunnin bit of muff,

But thanks to dear old labour

All the hotties are now jobless,

And maybe a few quid

Will quickly get them topless,

The uni’s sure wont have them

But you know I fucking will,

Cos 50 pounds an hour

Can buy some cheap old thrill,

You say she looks respectable

When she’s drinking in your town,

But I gave her money for her drinks

When she was going down,

So if your daughter lives alone

How’s she pay the rent,

Single bedroom for incalls

Prostitutional intent,

How’s your girlfriend feeling

Her education’s poor,

Her career path is McDonald’s

Or she could become a whore,

£4.83 an hour

From 18 till 21,

Or 100 and hour

For sucking on my dong,

I find it all ironic

That the government hates whores,

But pushes more and more of them

To work behind closed doors,

They refuse to give out options

To so many of the young,

So some of them have dead-end jobs

But most of them have none,

Some of them have kids

Cos the government pays their way,

Some become beauticians

For fucking lousy pay,

Some will work for nothing

And some will work in shops,

But more so now than ever

Some will work with cocks,

So if your child is precious

And you want to give the best,

And stop old men paying

To suck upon her chest,

you better make your government

Fund more Universities,

So places aren’t like gold dust

And your girls get off their knees.

He Could Have Saved Us.

He grew up with a destiny to fulfil,

To enrich the poor and heal the ill,

He’d stop the wars and then cure aids

And all without raising his blades,

He would be leader of the few,

The survivors of the damned,

Rally mankind through a holocaust,

Dystopia’s only hint of hope,

But mankind’s only chance of life,

Was destroyed in 2009,

When university refused him entry,

For there were too many in line,

His government refused them cash,

Given to bail the banks from crash,

Money used for invading wars,

Turned many a student into whores,

Now our could be saviour,

disheartened, dejected and destitute,

Turns his back on the state that failed him,

And seeks solace in a little blow,

Without hope of job or school,

Each rejection added pain,

Of drugs and harsh endeavours

Green, heroin and cocaine,

This guy was found at 23,

Death from vomit and O.D,

And now this world is lost to hope,

A victim of bureaucratic rope,

Morals and stories put aside,

Your government will only fail you,

Make heard your voice and concern,

And rally for your rights,

Power is within your grasp,

If you dare to reach and take,

There is no sin to basic needing,

Of rights you shouldn’t need to slake.
